After a few hours perusing etsy one night for gifts for my wife I started coming across zines people had been making and selling. For the most part they were poetry and prose, but a few were ‘solo role playing games’ in short form.

This really got my curiosity going, and I’m definitely going to be getting into some of them to see how these ingenious authors are executing it. I also came across an article about Phillip Summers, the guy who does hand drawn strategy guides getting a cease and desist on his kickstarter.

I dont have the ability to undertake that kind of prject for New World or Final Fantasy, so I’ve started working on short form guides to make in zine form.

I’ve only just started the rough draft for the cover for a gathering and crafting tip booklet for New World, but so far its pretty fun. I’m hoping to have some more to show off by Thursday, so if you havent already, follow me on all my different socials for updates and other stuff.
