I hope you’re ready for some more tips!
I thought of some more things that I do on occasion to be a skosh better than the other degenerates running around Limsa Lominsa in thongs shouting uwu at each other. Maybe they’ll help you be a skosh better than the other degenerates running around Limsa Lominsa wearing thongs and shouting uwu at each other.

- Stat Potions: You’re in battle, your combo is lined up, you’ve got procced abilities ready, but your self boost is still on cool down, you really want the big eggplant emoji DPS, so what do you do? Potions my mans, potions. A lot of casual players ignore stat potions, but generally, you can get them for an affordable price on the MB if you aim for a tier or so lower than the current best potion. This is perfectly fine to use during non savage content, and is likely more than the rest of your party is doing, but its effectively another self boost. Just be warned, it has a long cooldown before you can self medicate again.
- Use your materia. As you progress through a questline, you’ll likely get materia as a reward, or you’ll receive tokens (cracked clusters, beast tribe currency, etc.) that can then be used to purchase materia. A lot of people don’t meld materia, even at end game, and they are missing out on thousands of stat points in difference. If your market board is a terrible place to sell materia on, consider taking it to Mutamix to transmute into batter materia.
3. Join a hunt train Link shell. As you’re doing your thing, you’ll see the call go out. The hunt train is starting. Hundreds of players across the data center, from multiple linkshells and companies, charge to the coordinates, and demolish the ranked marks. All you do is follow the leader, get a few hits in on the world bosses, and its a happy alternative to farming dungeons for your tokens, provides you with gil, and specific currencies you can then use to buy mount speed increases, mounts, minions, and aetheryte tickets so you can teleport for free.

4. If you are just starting out and you aren’t sure what role you want to roll, you can select Arcanist. Arcanist turns into both a healer and a DPS caster at level 30; and no matter what you do Scholar and Summoner level up together
5. If the combat graphics are a bit too much, you can actually limit how much of other people’s glittery explosions you can see. On PC press escape, then character configuration, then character and scroll down to see an option that says “show limited” or “show none” under “Battle Effects Settings.” On PS4, press the options button, then it is under the same sections.
6. At level 30 there is an optional quest that unlocks your Chocobo’s ability to fight with you as an AI partner. The quest is in Bentbranch Meadows at the Chocobo stable. Your Chocobo can utilize 4 stances (tank, healer, DPS, or free), and a number of curing, taunting, or damaging abilities. Some include status debuffs for your enemies as well. The Chocobo will match your level but will rank up from EXP allowing you to select abilities and bonuses on a talent tree.

This list was kind of all over the place but, hopefully something in it made your adventure just a tidbit easier. As usual, subscribe for more videos, hit like you liked it, leave a mean comment below to start an argument, and I’ll see you later.
