People who know me know that I love to draw and design. When I was a kid I wanted to be a comic book artist. I would write and draw my own books in middle school and highschool. All of my drawings were pretty terrible, as I hadn’t really taught myself any fundamentals, I had just learned by mimicking. 

Lately thought I’ve really come to love drawing different Final Fantasy XIV related designs.

I did this to make into a t shirt:

It was obviously inspired by the bloodlily White Mage meme, and I wanted it to look like an older scene style t shirt. I was surprised I was able to sell a small handful of them.

I did this to experiment with my newest tablet, an XP Pen Artist 15.6:

Obviously, its just a shameless ripoff of the Full Metal Jacket imagery but again, inspired by White Mages and their disposition being Green DPS.

These ones are kind of works in progress I think, playing with the Gunbreaker icon:

Tanks have always been my favorite role to play in MMOs, However in FFXIV I feel like its a smoothbrain role (except at higher skill levels). I mean, its pretty obvious that tanking was made exceedingly easy in terms of aggro management to make sure that new players could stumble their way through casual content without repeated party wipes. 

Of course, high skilled tanks are able to focus their abilities elsewhere, such as DPS, mitigation, and some CC for pulls, and this is what is enjoy about the role; but I still maintain that tanking is generally dumb work in FFXIV. 

The roll medics was inspired by the fact that GNB hurts themselves with their invuln ability. Superbolide makes the player invincible for 10 seconds, but instantly drops the users health to 1 HP. 

Maybe I’ll make myself some shirts or stickers with the rest of these and I’ll be sure to post more art later if/when I do it.
